Pick-up and drop-off take place at Gravelly Point Boat Ramp, Arlington, Virginia.
What is the cruising area?
Your cruise will take place on the Potomac River between Old Town Alexandria and Georgetown.
Where can we park?
There is public parking available near Gravelly Point Boat Ramp. However, parking can fill up quickly, especially on weekends, so we recommend arriving early to allow time to park and walk to the dock.
Is fuel included in the price?
Yes, fuel is included in the charter price.
Are kids allowed onboard?
Yes, children are welcome onboard. However, each child must have a properly sized life vest, which guests must bring with them according to the child’s age and size.
Can we swim during the charter?
For safety reasons, swimming is generally not permitted in these waters.
Additionally, the muddy conditions of the river can cause dirt to accumulate on the boat’s furniture, which may result in a cleaning fee. Thank you for your understanding.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes, you are welcome to bring food and drinks onboard.
The boat includes:
A large cooler
A table if needed
However, please note the following restrictions:
No red wine or beverages that may stain the seats
No glass beer or soda bottles (cans only)
No glassware — plastic cups only
Does the boat have a sound system?
Yes. The boat is equipped with a sound system that allows you to easily connect your phone via Bluetooth to play your own music.
Can we bring decorations?
Yes, decorations are welcome. However:
Glitter and confetti are not permitted
All decorations must be removed at the end of the event
A cleaning fee will apply if decorations are left behind.
Is the boat covered?
Yes, the boat has a roof that fully covers the seating area.Because of this, regular rain is not considered a valid reason for cancellation.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is our priority. We will cancel and provide a full refund in the event of lightning, thunderstorms, heavy rain, or heavy wind within 2 hours of the scheduled rental time.
Is everything included in the price?
The charter price includes the boat and fuel, but the captain is not included.
A licensed captain must be hired separately and paid directly to the captain on the day of the charter.
After your charter is confirmed, we will provide a list of approved captains you can contact.
What happens if we arrive late?
Your charter will still end at the originally scheduled time, as we may have another booking after yours. We will try our best to accommodate yet it’s not guaranteed.
Can we bring alcohol?
Yes, you are welcome to bring alcoholic beverages onboard.
However:
No red wine
No glass bottles
No glassware
Only cans and plastic cups are permitted to help protect the boat’s upholstery.
Is there a restroom on the boat?
Not all of our vessels have a restroom. Please check the specific boat’s amenities
Is gratuity included for the captain?
No, gratuity is not included. If you are satisfied with the captain’s service, a tip is customary but optional.
Can the charter be terminated?
For safety reasons, the captain has the authority to terminate the charter at any time if unsafe behavior occurs. This includes, but is not limited to:
Excessive intoxication
Dangerous or reckless behavior
Violation of safety rules
In such cases, the charter will end immediately and no refund will be issued.

Pets may be allowed with prior approval.
